Land with little or no vegetation cover is shown on the silt, sand and rocks overlay. Here the inland non-vegetated areas, such as quarries, are shown as rocks. Coastal and estuarine (littoral) sediments covered at high water are distinguished from sand above high water (supra-littoral).
